When doing a mural, there are many factors that determine the final product. Sometimes the budget of the client requires me to paint faster than I would like. I did this mural in 13 hours. However, this was a breakthrough mural in a way in that I did it using no guides (projector or grid) and was primarily working from my on mind and imagination, making it up as I went along. I will still use guides when necessary but it is liberating to know that I can fly without a net.

This little robin was placed in the tree at the suggestion of a student. It truly added the touch of red needed in this portion of the mural!
