Mural #70: "The Treehouse on Kimball Farm." I had a blast doing this mural commissioned by Stacy Sheffield, principal at Kimball Elementary (Mesquite, TX). I always love when a mural takes shape right before the eyes of the students and faculty. Visiting with the passersby always adds to the fun and appeals to the performer in me! The scene carries the viewer away to a simpler, more serene place where children can escape to an even more fantastic world of the treehouse. As I painted, I heard kids saying, "I feel like I could just climb up in there!." Music to an artist's ears! 8' X 10' Acrylic on Industrial Wall Covering applied to Sheet Rock.."
