MURAL #50: "IF LOVE COULD BE A PLACE, IT WOULD BE CALLED FREE HOME." The good folks at Free Home Elementary (Canton, GA) wanted there to be a connection between the present and their storied past suggesting that I design a mural using photos from old yearbooks. Needing more material, I went to the main library in Cherokee County and found additional photos of life around town. I then designed the murals to look like old photos strewn across a table. Mural #50 features the photos from around town and Mural #49 highlights school activities and memories. Everyone who enters the school is immediately surrounded by these images on either side of the lobby.. The school is delighted with the results.
